1996.338: Untitled
DrawingsA horizontal rectangle composition features curving shapes against, and intersecting with a background of hard geometric shapes. At center, a yellow shape bulges outward to the left, and at right, extends to a narrowing pointed beak-like shape. At left, adjacent to this is a twisting bow shape, black on its upper curve and yellow below. Both shapes are overlaid with bands of color that bend at right angles. Paler colored blue and gray bands run across the background, some horizontal and some slanting, some appearing opaque, and some transparent where they intersect.
