Descriptions Commentary This print and its pendant, the portrait of the wife of Georg Pencz (née Prunner), were printed from the same plate; the sheet has been cut in half after printing. The second states of the prints, after the plate itself was cut in half, are identifiable by the plates' rounded corners.
