From left to right: a seated monkey holds her young; a monkey bends to the river to drink; a monkey walks away from the tree in the middle of the drawing, while six other monkeys gather around or climb it; finally, a monkey lies on its back while another scratches its chest. In the background are faintly-drawn trees and rocks, with sketches of monkey heads and a bear peering from behind a large rock. Rajput Style, Kota School.
