She looks upward and has her arms bent over her head and hands clasped together. She leans back with her right knee bent and her left leg extended. She wears a long skirt, armlets, bracelets, anklets, earrings, necklaces, and a scarf that covers just the back of her head. Her dark curly hair cascades down her back. Scribbled brush strokes – by which the artist tested colors, adjusted paint load, and pointed the bristles of the brush – occupy the upper left and lower right edges of the paper.
