Descriptions

Description
At the center of the page is a figure of a young woman. She looks upward and has her arms bent over her head and hands clasped together. She leans back with her right knee bent and her left leg extended. She wears a long skirt, armlets, bracelets, anklets, earrings, necklaces, and a scarf that covers just the back of her head. Her dark curly hair cascades down her back. Scribbled brush strokes – by which the artist tested colors, adjusted paint load, and pointed the bristles of the brush – occupy the upper left and lower right edges of the paper. At the bottom of the page in red are two sketches of female figures. Rajput Style, Kota School.
