- Description
- The painting features the tomb of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of Nur Jahan, the wife of the Mughal emperor Jahangir (r. 1605-1627). Mirza Ghiyas Beg was given the title, I'timād-al-Dawla (Pillar of the State). Company School.
