1972.75: Utka Nayika: page from a dispersed manuscript of Keshavadas's Rasikapriya(Connoisseur's Delight)
PaintingsA rectangular opaque watercolor painting depicting a seated woman who is encircled by many lush trees, animals poking their heads out from them, and pink and white flowers. There are two deer along the top-right, two birds near the top-left, and a yellow leopard along the bottom. The flowers are on long, narrow bundles and the buds are small. She sits in a bed of leaves and wears a pink bottom, brown top, and orange veil. She faces the viewer’s right and her left hand is tugging on her veil. Grey and orange clouds swirl along the top of the image. The entire image is framed by a thick, dark blue border.
