Descriptions

Description
Tapestry woven square consisting of four squares cut by a central square. Purple stylized flower and leaf designs fill the squares. Inside the central square is vine in an oval shape with tendrils at the four corners of the square. This oval is divided in half by another vine; on other side is a pair of leaves surrounding a flower or circle. The design is slightly asymmetrical: the squares on the left contain three spade-shaped leaves while those on the right contain only two each. Supplementary weft wrapping creates some details in the leaves and flowers.
