Light gray and pale green, slightly calcified jade, polished smooth and glossy. Toward the cutting edge, the straight sides of the blade widen slightly; the thickness of its biconvex body diminishes gradually toward the edge. Above the neatly drilled conical hole, the sides converge noticeably. The butt is straight. Shang or Western Chou.
