Catalogue entry no. 616 by Max Loehr:
616 Foot Measure
Flat tablet of mottled bluish green jade, now largely calcified and gray to bone in color. Engraved on one side are ten subdivisions; each of these is in turn subdivided ten times by marks, half o which lie along one edge and half of which lie along the other edge. The major divisions run clear across the tablet, while their half-divisions are marked by incisions longer than the small subdivisions. The half-divisions on the one side end in triangles, while those on the other have Y -shaped terminations. Another incised line runs the length of the entire piece, dividing it longitudinally into two equal parts; in the center where this line meets the fifth major transverse division there is a sort of swastika design. Broken. Date open.
