Catalogue entry no. 56 by Max Loehr:
56 Dagger-Axe with Crenelated Tang
Small blade similar in material and shape to No. 55, but without distinct beveling or hollow-grinding. The teeth and notches along the fore part of the tang are damaged; some apparently were ground down, resulting in an irregular, shapeless profile that is not at all remedied by the projections along the back. A perforation is drilled from the left side between these projections, near the butt. Shang.
