416 Ornamental Bird Figure
Evenly light sea-green, highly translucent jade with dark brown markings along the lower edge of the figure. The birds is distinguished by a pronouncedly ornamental design, dominated by the harmonious interplay of varied _S_-curves. The surfaces of the nearly separated parts are textured by incised scales, grooves, and fluting. Vertical perforation in front of the wing. Late Eastern Chou.
