125 Stylus with Bird Figure at the Top
Dark gray-green, opaque, partly discolored jade. The stylus, trapezoidal in cross-section, has a slanting, blunt edge and point. The bird, perhaps a fledgling duck, is rendered very simply, with plain surfaces, a groove at the beak, and with a drill-hole serving as the eye in its pathetically large head. Shang(?).
