493 Segment-shaped Pendant
This piece of milky white jade with a greenish tinge has the shape of an approximately semicircular segment, wedge-shaped in cross-section and terminating in animal heads. At the apex is a suspension device in the form of symmetrical openwork scrolls. The surfaces are plain and highly polished. Late Eastern Chou or Western Han.
