407 Ts’ung
Perforated prism with four slightly convex sides and a perfectly circular projection at either end. The inner wall of the perforation, which is approximately cylindrical, has been carefully smoothed. The jade is of a pale green shade and highly translucent; its brown specs and dark brown marginal areas recall the ornate disks of the Warring States period from Chin-ts’un. Late Eastern Chou(?).
