237 Ts’ung
Square prism with tubular projections, of mottled olive-green and deep russet jade. The eight corners are worked off at a slopping angle. The slightly convex sides are decorated like those of Nos. 235 and 236; in this case, there are only two bands in each of the two units—a short one and long one, both striated. The circular motifs are more distinct here. There is a cylindrical perforation. Late Western or early Eastern Chou.
