103 Collared Disk
Disk with comparatively high collar around the inner edge. Fine-grained stone of the color of old ivory, without any signs of calcification. The surface is polished smooth and shiny. On the lower side, the collar dips, in what appears to be an original depression. On the same side of the disk are discernible very finely incised, concentric grooves, arranged in groups of three, in three divided bands. Shang or Western Chou.
