Calcified, creamy white, partly corroded, thin jade plaque, showing a small creature that consists of a head with upright mushroom-shaped horn, shoulders, and short, curled tail. The back descends steeply toward the perforated tail end. A smaller perforation is at the mouth. Late Shang or early Western Chou.
