317 Cicada
Milky bluish green and whitish, wedge-shaped piece of jade, incised identically on both sides. The head, seen from above, is flanked by the feet; a double contour marks the ogival body. The body, in turn, is bordered by the wings; one of the wing tips is broken off. There is a vertical perforation between the circular eyes. Traces of cinnabar. Late Western Chou(?).
