Catalogue entry no. 74 by Max Loehr:

74 Jade Dagger-Axe in a Bronze Haft
Pale gray-green and whitish jade blade, strongly calcified at the tip, which is now blunt. The blade has an indistinct crest and edges beveled continuously to the tip. It is fitted into the rectangular socket of a tang which has a large perforation between the vertical bar and the rectangular butt. The socket is decorated with a t’ao-t’ieh mask, the butt with a zoomorphic design. Both designs are executed in bronze cloisons, but without any trace of inlay. Shang.
