Catalogue entry no. 160 by Max Loehr:

160 Rabbit Figure cut from a Disk Segment
Opaque, bone-colored and dark olive-green jade with traces of a dull reddish pigment. The rabbit’s feet are connected by a short bridge; together with the legs and the belly they form a circle of irregular shape. Head and body, crenelated like No. 159, are curved in accordance with the shape of the disk from which the figure was carved. The tail is formed by a pointed hook at the end of the crenelated flange. The eyes are marked by concentric circles; incised double lines are used to define the nose and mouth. A pattern of large hooks and spirals covers the body. Both sides are engraved identically. There is no perforation. Shang or Western Chou.
