1943.52.75.B: Covered 'Dou' Food Container on High Foot with Animal-Mask Ring Handles, one of a pair
VesselsThis bronze container has a round body with a tall, flared pedestal-like base. A round lid sits atop it, and together they form a roughly spherical shape above the pedestal. The finish of the container is metallic gold with darker bronze areas around the bottom of the base, the top of the lid, and the line where the container and lid meet. It has several large patches of dark green patina. The container has two rings attached to its side. The holders that attach the rings to the container are dragon-head-shaped.
