Catalogue entry no. 485 by Max Loehr:
485 Huang, Segment with Plastic Curls and Widening Ends
This segment, fashioned of translucent, pale brownish green jade with blackish brown spots at the outer contours, is distinguished both by its unusual shape and by the extraordinary precision of the workmanship, which is most strikingly demonstrated by the sharp, meticulously finished crenelation. Both sides are covered with a very regular grid pattern of plastic curls, bordered by plain, raised margins. The segment runs through approximately 156 degrees. There are small, straight perforations at either end, as well as at the apex of the arc. Late Eastern Chou.
