Catalogue entry no. 482 by Max Loehr:
482 Huang, Segment with Zoomorphic Heads
Translucent, pale brownish yellow jade, fashioned into a segment with an arc of about 80 degrees. The ends have the shape of animal heads, the surfaces of which coalesce with the pattern of plastic spirals covering the segment. More or less distinctly rendered are the mouth and the muzzle, the eye, and the ear or horn of these heads; the outlines of the heads are determined by these anatomical parts. There are no less than four drill-holes. A crack runs across the piece near the center. Late Eastern Chou.
