Catalogue entry no. 577b by Max Loehr:
577 Pair of Garment Hooks
Dark olive-green jade with discolored buff areas and a glossy, smooth surface. The hooks consists of a flat rear extension, rectangular in cross-section, which terminates in a transverse rectangular projection perforated by a rectangular slot (wider in the back than in the front) and a longer, straight front bar, which is flat underneath and rounded off along the outside. The front bar has been ground down on the inside so that it slopes gracefully forward just as it approaches the tip. Where the hook bends, both the inner and outer surfaces are rounded off. Possibly Han.
