Catalogue entry no. 434 by Max Loehr:
434 Dragon Silhouette
Translucent, milky, pale greenish nephrite. Head and body form a continuous curve, rejoined by the upward flung tail. The width of the body decreases evenly toward the tail. An appendage forming a pointed volute below the body bifurcates into two slender claw-like members, the claw in front being connected with the dragon’s lower jaw. A small curved foot issues from the back of the tail. Perforated in the middle of the body. The body itself is covered with interconnected spirals executed in low relief and intaglio. Late Eastern Chou.
