A painted scroll depicting a large, brown panel of a man in a white robe sitting beneath a drooped tree branch. A white panel at the top shows Chinese writing in black ink. The two panels are connected by a blue and white patterned background.

The painted scroll shows two panels of paper that are bordered by a blue and white patterned background. The bottom panel is large and brown and depicts a man in the center sitting facing the viewer and dressed in a white robe. His robe is loose and drapes off of his right shoulder. His right leg is down and bent inward while his left leg is bent up. His right arm is straight down and his left hand rests on his left knee. He has a long, black beard and is wearing a dark hat. Above him are drooped branches with many green leaves and there are tree trunks to the left of the image. The second panel is above the brown panel and is white. It is just as wide as the brown panel but a quarter of the height. This panel has vertical rows of Chinese writing all over it in black ink. There is a small red symbol to the bottom-left of the panel.
