Catalogue entry no. 176 by Max Loehr:
176 Stylus-like Object
Pale green nephrite with white streaks. The object resembles a sturdy pin or stylus that tapers to a sharp point. The upper part is trapezoidal in cross-section; the lower part is rounded. A head is formed by an inward-curving depression girt by a horizontal rib and surmounted by a slightly projecting top. The back is flattish except for an irregular vertical groove. Probably Shang.
