Minimal buildings depicted in variations of grey, largest on left, with slightly angled roofs in this perspective scene. Waves crash as an adult and child in kimonos stand on shore in distance. The ocean water is a luminous aqua color against the darker blue horizon line and moody sky. Clouds roll in from right toward the center. Foreground contains a stone-lined road from left, curving to center where a bike is parked, leading downhill to the right. An upper balcony on left provides illuminated contrast to the twilight feeling of blues, browns, and greys, its roofline parallel with horizon.
