An unadorned vessel has a simple pear shape at its base, with a short flat ridge at the bottom. At its mid-section it narrows more sharply inward, rising to a tall thin neck which flares outward again at the top, with a subtle ridge around the small opening. It is glazed in a uniform muted green-gray, and some fine surface cracks can be seen toward the top of the neck. The ridge at the bottom has some small chips in the glaze that show white, with a bare stoneware surface beneath.
