From a short, circular stand at its base, the bottle curves outward for the lower third. There, it tapers to a narrow neck that flares out again slightly at the top, where a circular opening is ringed with a short ridge. The bottle is glazed in a speckled off white with horizontal striations seen throughout. Horizontal bands are demarcated by thin gray lines at various heights, and the widest band, across the middle features a freely painted design in dark flowing lines that depict abstract lotus leaves. Other bands, across the base and the neck are left unembellished.
