1991.621: Water Dropper with Two Spouts, Each in the Form of a Crouching Frog, and with Plum and Rock Decor
Artists' ToolsA horizontal, six sided rectangular box in white porcelain is embellished with blue painted designs on each side. The top panel has, at one edge, a small, open-mouthed frog that serves as an opening into the container. Opposite this, at the top of a side panel, a second small, white porcelain frog similarly acts as a spout. Each panel features a painting of either flowering branches or irregularly shaped rocks. Each design is framed by thin lines that trace the panel’s edges.
