The painted ink image shows a woman standing on an angular, brown branch with small blue buds on it. The branch has small, grey wavy lines beneath it. There are also a small, blue object and a white deer with black spots laying down on the branch left-of-center. The deer is facing away from the viewer and has small, black antlers. The woman is right-of-center and is dressed in a loose, pink top, a long, white skirt, a light green cloth on her shoulders, and small, pink ribbons attached to her hip. Her hair is tied into a bun on top of her head and her face is round with a long, slender nose, a small red mouth, slim slanted eyes that are looking at the viewer. She is holding a thin, green stick behind her at an angle. The background is pale grey and there are two vertical rows of Chinese writing ink black ink to the left side.
