Catalogue entry no. 382 by Max Loehr:

382 Set of Twelve Ornamental Belt Plaques
Light gray, greenish, and bone-colored, faintly translucent material fashioned as unevenly cut, thin slabs. Two of them, slightly larger than the rest, are distinguished by crenelation. All of the plaques are decorated with curvilinear configurations and dragon faces, executed in engraved double outlines. The backs are plain. Small perforations suggest that these pieces were sewn to a belt of perhaps a cap. Early Eastern Chou.
