The bottle has a flat circular base which expands into a ball shape, and rising from the center of its top is a long, gently curved cylindrical neck with a narrow mouth. Its smooth white porcelain is embellished with two monochrome blue paintings, one on either side of the spherical body. On one side, two leafy bamboo branches grow upward diagonally to the right. On the opposite side, a gnarled branch curves around in a circle, and growing up from it in places are smaller shoots with blossoming flowers.
