Large wide-mouthed jar with broad shoulders and flat base; light gray stoneware with impressed basket-weave decor.
Commentary
Compare to:
Large wide-mouthed jar of similar form with basket-weave decor excavated in 2010 from a late Warring States period (475 – 221 BCE) or early Western Han (206 BCE – 9 CE) earth-mound tomb near Mount Zhenshan in High-tech District, Suzhou, Jiangsu province. See Wenwu [Cultural Relics] 5 (2016): 9, fig. 13.
