CoinsOn the side of the coin on the left is a man and women standing in a four-horse drawn vehicle facing left. The woman holds the reins in her hands, the man to her right wears a helmet, his outstretched arms are raised holding a bow and arrow ready to shoot. Above, the Greek characters: S E L I N O N T I O N. The other side of the coin depicts a large standing nude man facing left, right hand outstretched holding a bowl pouring liquid onto an altar below, with a rooster standing in front. In his left hand is a palm frond, a second altar is to the right with a bull and a leaf above. Surrounding top, the Greek characters: S E L I N O S
