Descriptions Description Large globular wide-mouthed jar with short neck, broad shoulders, and sides tapering inward to a flat base; light gray stoneware with thin ash glaze over stamped decoration, the exposed body clay with reddish brown skin. Commentary Compare to: Proto-porcelain jar of similar form with short neck and geometric basket-weave decor excavated in 2008-2009 from the Warring States period Tingziqiao kiln site in the Economic Development Zone of Deqing County, Zhejiang province.
