Descriptions Description Miniature tripod bowl with everted lip, straight sides with raised ridge encircling body, and three tiny cabriole legs; marbled white and brown earthenware with lead-fluxed amber colored glaze, including underside of vessel; unglazed base of feet with some glaze overflow. Commentary Compare to: Small box with similar marbled decoration attributed to the Tang dynasty excavated in 1985 from a steel factory site in the eastern suburbs of Xi’an, Shaanxi province, now in the Shaanxi History Museum.
