On the side of the coin on the left is the head of a man facing right, with long curly hair falling around neck, curly beard, and wreath around head. The other side of the coin depicts a man riding a horse facing right, helmet atop head, palm frond in right hand, reins in the left. Below, a star. Above, Greek characters in the top left-hand corner.
