On the side of the coin on the left is a man’s head facing right, long hair tumbles down the back of neck, with laurel wreath atop. Greek characters line the right border. The other side of the coin depicts a small naked child squatting with head turned left, both arms outstretched strangling two serpents, one in each hand with bodies curled around him.
