Descriptions Description Hand-made box by Michael Silver, with his print John Cage - Escaping the Frame, glued to the cover. The box contains correspondence related to the event at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on August 31, 1999. Includes a letter to John Cage about the idea of cooking a drawing. Also includes thank-you notes from invited guests, such as Julia Child, several letters to Anne Hawley, director of the Gardner Museum, requesting permission to stage the event.
