[From a small hoard found near Naxus (Spink letter).]
Obv.: [SYR]AKOS[ION]; facing head of Athena wearing helmet with three crests; around, four dolphins; linear border.
Rev.: [SYRAKOSION]; the hero Leucaspis as warrior attacking r. with lance, shield and crested helmet; to l., altar with one step; to r., ram lying on back; in exergue, [LE]UKASP[IS].
