  • watermark: paper, watermark: posthorn in shield, not the same, however, as the posthorn in shield on "Mountainous Landscape"
  • inscription: verso, brown ink, handwritten, French: Le liure a Six feu[i]lle / Legave [or] Legare (The book with Six pages / [?]) [17th or early 18th c, with an elaborate calligraphic 'paraphe' as the final stroke]
