Descriptions Description Large cylindrical cup with waisted midsection, loop handle, and flat base; white earthenware. Dawenkou culture. From the middle and lower Yellow River valley regions; Shandong, northern Jiangsu, northern Anhui, and eastern Henan provinces. Commentary Compare to: 1) Earthenware cup of related form excavated at Dawenkou, Tai’an county, Shandong province, now in the National History Museum, Beijing.
