Descriptions Description Jar with trumpet-shaped, flared mouth, constricted neck, ovoid body, and two loop handles; reddish buff earthenware with applique handles and cord-impressed decoration. Qijia culture. From the upper Yellow River valley region; Gansu, Qinghai, or Shaanxi province or Inner Mongolia. Commentary Compare to: 1) Jar of similar form and decoration, excavated from a Qijia culture site in Dazuping, Zhuoni county, Gansu province.
