Descriptions Description Obv.: Bust of Vardanes II, beardless, facing, with wart on temple; wearing cuirass, spiral necklace, and helmet ornamented in front with horns (like loops); on either side of helmet, a star of six rays; border of dots. Rev.: Schematically rendered king seated r. on throne, holding bow; before him, a monogram like a letter A with flat top and pellet beneath.
