Descriptions Description Small circular covered box with straight sides and angled perimeters; white stoneware with ivory-hued glaze on exterior and interior; base unglazed. From northern China, probably from Hebei or Henan province. Commentary Compare to: Small white ware box of closely related form excavated in 1989 from a late Tang-dynasty tomb at Beizhai village, Jingxing mining district, Hebei province, now in the Shijiazhuang Museum, Hebei.
