1.1965.1981: Stater of Knossos
CoinsWithin the circle on the left is the profile of a naked man with a bull’s head facing left. It’s arms and legs are bent, with the right arm and leg in front in a running position. The circle on the right depicts a cross. Within the cross are meandering lines in a labyrinth pattern. At the center of the cross are five small circles, one in the middle with two on the right and two on the left.
