Descriptions Description Silver-form long-necked bottle with flared mouth, ovoid body, tall conical foot, and flat base; white stoneware with transparent celadon-green-tinted glaze; base unglazed. From northern China, possibly Henan province. Commentary Compare to (1) White ware bottle of closely related form dating to the Tang period excavated in 2000 from the underground vault of Fawang Temple, Dengfeng, Henan province, now in the Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology. (2) White ware bottle of related form purportedly made at the Xing kilns, Henan province, excavated in 1990 from a Tang period site at Shaolingyuan, Xi’an, Shaanxi province, now in the Shaanxi History Museum.
