Obv.: Bust of the Virgin facing, orans, wearing tunic and maphorion.
Rev.: Bust of Leo VI facing, with long beard, wearing chlamys with elaborate tablion and crown with cross composed of four pellets. In r. hand, globus surmounted by patriarchal cross.
